It truly was a pleasure to photograph the BloombergNEF team, special guests and attendees that attended the Canadian version of the Barrel of Tomorrow event that was held at the Hudson on September 19th, 2023 here in Calgary and hosted by BloombergNEF. At this event the BNEF team discussed the energy transition implications for the oil and gas industry and the impact on commodity markets. To get to net-zero by mid-century, even the hardest-to-abate sectors will need to adopt carbon-free solutions, which could test the limits of electrification. Below are some highlights from this event!
