Subway Canada giving back to the Calgary local community
The Subway YESWAY! booth touched down in Calgary, Alberta this past weekend to celebrate the launch of Subway’s fifteen new chef-crafted sandwiches! Subway’s most recent campaign is saying “Yesway!” to the new Subway series sub sandwiches and to celebrate there were special guest appearances from Toronto based Competitive Skateboarder Fay DeFazio Ebert and Skateboarder & Olympian Annie Guglia!
They hosted a trick competition along side 100% Skateclub, a place for Calgary women, girls and non-binary skateboarders to connect and share their skateboarding skills.

The event was held at the Yorkville Skatepark here in SE Calgary where guests could enter the Yesway! Booth and interact with it to receive some major prizes and Subway swag. Guests were able to watch Fay’s super sweet skateboarding moves and even a big air moment followed by photos and skateboard signing by booth Fay DeFazio and Annie Guglia!
A Toronto based DJ was also on site bringing the hiphop music vibes to the skatepark while 100% skateclub members joined in on showing off their skateboarding skills.
100% Skate Club also received a donation from Subway Canada - a cheque for over seven thousand dollars to help their Calgary skateboarding club contribute to their goal of supporting girls, women and non-binary skateboarders of all skill levels here in the city of Calgary
The Subway Yesway! booth will continue on it’s tour all over Canada to promote it’s new menu, VIP points program and encourage all Canadians to say Yesway! to Subway. There have been booth appearances with special athletic guests already in Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary and the next stop might just be your city!
